I have been having problem last 2 weeks. We have been using the same car for years but for some reason we get problem constantly last 2 weeks.
First the bailiff company tried to remove the car for non paid ticket, i paid £822 , i walked in the house just 5 minutes after getting rid of the bailiff company than i opened the letters. I couldn’t believe my eyes, £1127 fine plus 4 points on my driving licence for speeding. There was,t any speeding. Huge empty road with the speed limit of 40 mph and we were driving only 50. It is crazy.
Two days after that our car picked up from the single yellow line and taken to the Perivale Police pound, apparently it was obstructing. believe me there were no such obstruction. I had to go to Perivale last friday, waited in the queue for 5 hours. I waited in the cold, outside for hours and paid £170 fine. The worst thing was there were no toilet facility, waiting outside in a freezing cold No toilet.
Again police stopped today, and issued £65 ticket and 3 point on the drivers licence. They said the front window was dark and dangers to drive. They asked to leave the car and walk out. It was very cold, rainy, dark. It is easy to open the window and drive home. He was only 10 minutes away from home. They just wanted to be as hard as they can be.
one police were caring and polite, what happened to them these days. One of the reason must be their low pay.
Thing are getting worse. I don’t know if it is us only or other people out there going trough the same thing. Is this the way to generate more money for Police and Local authorities. I am really fed up and tired of the car and the driving and all of these games going around me.
I already gave up the cars and driving years ago. It is cheeper to use taxi. I don’t have to worry about parking or fines. But my sun is young and wants to drive. After all these suppression from the police and traffic wardens he will give up.
We pay road tax, MOT, parking fee, insurance, petrol. Plus these fines and points. These is ridicules. We are better off on public transport.
Driving is not a joy anymore it is a torture.
Few hours later my son came to my room and said, I want you to sell the car. I don’t want it anymore. That is the best thing i heard so far. Thank God! We don’t have to feed the hyenas.
